My name is Aiste

I have been dog training and dog handling since I was seven years old. Caring for animals has always been at the centre of my life. I grew up in a remote farm house in rural Lithuania where my mother and I trained dogs professionally. At home we raised and trained Dalmatians and Tatra Shepherd dogs for canine competitions as well as companion training large breed dogs such as Labradors, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Dobermans and many more within the surrounding area.

I founded SW.dog as a specialist companion training service after receiving many word-of-mouth requests for training from dog walking clients and their friends and wanting to create the perfect service to meet local people’s needs. I am interested in different new approaches how to achieve training goals in more efficient and fun way and my biggest training inspiration at the moment is Will Atherton.

I am fully insured with Protectivity pet business insurance, DBS checked, and hold CPD & AMTRA Accredited Canine First Aid Certificate. As a part of my further professional development and deep interest into the best available practises I have attended IMDT 4 Day Practical Instructor Course

  • “Ernie thrived on his training and walks with Aiste. She’s one in a million and knew just the skills to teach me to enjoy safe walks with an obstinate Foxie. She built up my confidence on recall and off lead walks which Ernie and I both love without any stress. We love and highly recommend her.”

    — Dee M.

  • “Aiste is wonderful with Scout. She not only walked and exercised him, started teaching him to be a better dog with some dog handling tips we didn't know about. Thank you!”
